Yesterday morning at 4am, police were alerted by the local authority CCTV office of unknown males acting suspiciously on EARLS COURT ROAD near to 242 and were seen walking into OLD MANOR YARD next to the underground station. Police attended immediately and the males were stopped, they had ditched a ruck sack near to a bush on police approach. This ruck sack contained a wrench, crow bar, tape & other items. This was captured on a door bell camera and residents shared this with police. Police were able to link the individuals to the ruck sack which was seized by police and the males were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary. This is a great example of the local authority, Police and citizens working together to stop & prevent crime. Thankyou to the resident who supported police that morning. This heatwave means we open more windows in our house overnight to keep cool, please be mindful of which windows you keep open overnight. Police will continue late night & early morning patrols in the area. |
